Spilanthes acmella
Known as "nature's toothbrush", Spilanthes tinctures can be used for optimal oral health.
This stimulating and enlivening herb brings a wonderful tingling sensation to the mouth and gums. Acting as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal, the tincture can be used to treat canker sores, dry mouth, and sore throat; while moving stagnation, supporting blood flow and providing nutrients. I had an oral infection that I had to get cleared out and after being on two rounds of antibiotics I developed oral thrush which I had never experienced before. I was trying to look for natural homeopathic ways to heal myself and went down a rabbit hole of herbs. I’ve bought items from Kauai Farmacy before and was excited to learn about splianthes. I rushed over from Lihue and got a bottle and the first experience working with this tincture was exciting to say the least. I started to use this tincture after cleaning my mouth after each meal and this along with changing my diet to 99% fruits and vegetables and herbs, consuming supplements to boost my immune system such as vit c and d, zinc, and magnesium, I noticed quickly my oral health improving. I also bought the noni hydrosol that I spray into my mouth after the splianthes and that’s worked wonders too. I’ve also been using the noni on mini cuts I’ve gotten and it’s helped expedite the healing. I’m now venturing into learning more about herbs and their powerful healing properties. Mother Nature really is a powerhouse packed with resources to nourish and provide for us. The other items I got from Kauai farmacy is the Tusli hydrosol which I use mostly as a pick me up or calm me down when I’m feeling a little anxious - the smell is so refreshing when I mist it over my face, and the cleanse powder which I’m taking everyday. I can’t tell if it’s working or not because I take such a small amount however I appreciate knowing that all the ingredients in it are aiding my body’s cleansing process. Along with this I do lymphatic exercises to help my body and will be ordering a trampoline for the same reason. Kauai Farmacy is a new favorite spot for me in my journey to well being. My first impulse is to write OMG! like a teenager -that is my reaction to how amazing this is. This tincture was a lifesaver during the 2 weeks after I had two lower jaw molars out that had infection underneath. After being spacey for 36-48 hours as a result of both the injection& ibuprofen that I caved in & took the night of extractions, I was doing Iodine (Edgar Cayce recipe) mouthwash. That helped tremendously but I was still in a lot of pain & on day 3 realized I had a major infection on the site of the extractions.My daughter asked Doug & Genna for advice. "Spilanthes" they said. I started putting it in water & holding it in my mouth.. ah sweet relief from pain as the pleasant slightly effervescent numbing effect in my mouth. Then I put straight tincture on the site. Gradually, day by day, the infection got better. After 3 days with Spilanthes I no longer had a slight fever. Over the next week-10 days I continued to use Spilanthes & now at two weeks, I am infection free all without antibiotics. Friends were telling me you'd better get antibiotics, that could be dangerous together with stories of visits to emergency. I didn't want to do antibiotics & I'm so glad I didn't & so very grateful to Kauai Farmacy. I was not familiar with Spilanthes before; now it is on my small list of "must haves" in the medicine box. This amazing plant gently healed my nasty infection without any unpleasant side effects. I'm going to continue to use as part of my teeth health thank you!
I was having a tooth ache to the point where I knew something was very wrong and I either had a bad cavity or infection or something of the sort. Since I couldn't go to a dentist right away, I was afraid I would just have a tooth ache that was getting worse. My friend Ben told me about the spilanthes tincture and I used it daily/whenever the sharp pain came on. The pain dissapated SO quickly it was amazing. I had to get a large back tooth removed due to an infected root canal. I did not want to take antibiotics. There was a huge hole. I put spilanthes directly on it 3x a day after the bleeding stopped. It healed beautifully. I use it now as a mouthwash a few times a week for oral health. Thank you!!!
I have a lot of bridge work in my mouth and am prone to bleeding where i had a root canal. I use this tincture directly on my gums morning and evening after brushing and flossing. No more bleeding and my gums have never been healthier
I had a molar extracted five days ago. The pain is unbearable, so I have been taking Tylenol 3s to cope. I decided to try this tincture, and the pain just disappeared! Thank you Kauai Farmacy, I can be pain free during the day now!
