Lime Balm, Melissa officinalis Lime balm is a sister to Lemon Balm, sharing most of the same medicinal qualities. The biggest difference in personality comes through in aroma, where Lime Balm is clearly "lime" in nature and Lemon Balm is "lemony". A hardy perennial with toothed, oval light green leaves and small yellow white flowers. Lime Balm prefers full sun and rich soils.
