DESCRIPTION
Oregano,
Origanum vulgare Oregano is a hardy perennial with ovate leaves and will have flower clusters pinkish and purple in color. It grows native to The Mediterranean, but fairs well in our tropical oasis. Revered for its highly antibacterial and antiviral components, Oregano is immune-boosting and a perfect preventative for colds, flu and infections. It has been used throughout history as a tonic to support longevity and also for the rapid cure of acute conditions. Strongly aromatic and pungent in flavor, its essential oils lend well to both savory cuisines and effective medicines.
