Fig, Ficus carica
Fig is a shrub or a tree that can grow between 10-30 feet tall. Figs are indigenous to Western Asia and are now well known mostly in the Mediterranean with over 600 varieties. The fig has numerous spreading branches and a trunk usually at most about 7 inches in diameter.
